Delivering this incredibly important digital library to you was no small feat but well worth the hours work from many to make these primary sources available to the homeopathic profession at our fingertips!
First, I’d like to thank George Dimitriadis BSc, DHom, DHomMCCH(Eng), FHom(UK), FJPHMA (Jpn), FHISyd, for devoting the majority of his life’s work to collecting these documents. George Dimitriadis has spent the better part of the past 20 years collecting these PDF copies of original works as part of his own research project to methodically update and correct errors in Hahnemann’s primary texts, which he has entitled Materia Medica Hahnemannica.[i] George generously donated his literature collection to the Homœopathic Academy of Naturopathic Physicians (HANP) who in turn decided to gift the collection to Sonoran University of Health Sciences and the Department of Homeopathy and Pharmacology.
In the words of HANP president, Jamie Oskin ND, DHANP: “After much deliberation, we chose to partner with Sonoran University because of the strong homœopathic educational program at the school as well as its foundation as a naturopathic institution, a natural partnership for the HANP as a naturopathic organization, and we felt it best this resource be made available at a university, which can be the house of future research projects.” I will echo Dr. Oskin’s sentiments and remind everyone of the work of Dr. Paul Mittman ND, EdD and Dr. Stephen Messer, MSEd, ND, DHANP in creating the homeopathic program at Sonoran.
Next, I would like to thank Kayte Nettles CFRE, CNP and Natalie Olsen for their help in securing the grant from the Henry I Klopp Homeopathic Fund who provided the necessary funding to make this collection accessible to the public. I would love the opportunity to recognize the task the Henry I. Klopp Trust Grant Advisory Board, Susanne Saltzman, MD, Ron Whitmont, MD and Todd Hoover, MD, DHt., has undertaken to review and fund various homeoapthic educational and research projects across the nation. Sonoran University is grateful for the generosity created by Henry I Klopp and for the advisory board’s recognition of the important work the Sonoran University homeopathy department has chosen to undertake.
Another debt of gratitude is extended to the Sonoran University IT department and the two independent contractors, Hilary Oskin and Jonathan Salisbury ,who worked tirelessly in bringing this project to life. Without their expertise and hours committed to the project, we would never have been successful.
Lastly, my final thanks is to you, the homeopathic community, supporters of this system of medicine used by millions of people around the world for your interest, care and support of the homeopathy department at Sonoran University of Health Sciences.
I am more than pleased to unveil the beautiful HANP Dimitriadis Literature Collection! Here’s to many successful homeopathic prescriptions provided by this collection of work!
Sincerely,
Elizabeth Rice, ND DHANP
